Dr Ross. J. Todd is currently Research Director at the Centre for International Scholarship in School Librarianship (CISSL) and Associate Professor in the School of Communication, Information and Library Studies at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
He is well known to Australian’s for his work at the University of Technology Sydney, for the many professional development activities he has presented for IASL, ASLA, SLAV and ALIA, and for editing the research component of Scan, the NSW Department of Education and Training journal.
Ross brings extensive international experience to his seminars and workshops. His primary teaching and research interests focus on adolescent information seeking and use. The research is milut-faceted, and includes:
He has published more than 100 papers and book chapters and has been an invited speaker at many international conferences. He is a member of the editorial board of the International School Librarianship journal School Libraries Worldwide, the School Library Association of Victoria Journal, Synergy, and the US publication School Library Media Research.
